Northview Watch D.O.G.S.

North Oakview’s WatchD.O.G.S. chapter started in the fall of 2011, thanks to the efforts of principal Teya Cotter. At the kick-off event, over 100 Dads and their children showed up, many of whom signed up on the spot for volunteering as a WatchDOG.

The WatchD.O.G.S. program at North Oakview is managed by a core team consisting of Principal Teya Cotter, teacher Jason Hoogenstyn and Top Dogs Brett Wardrop, Sam Knochs and Ty Tanis. Brett and Sam had previously volunteered at North Oakview, and together with Teya and Jason expanded on the need of volunteers that would be male role models for students.

North Oakview WatchD.O.G.S. -

THANKS FOR ALL YOU DO!

We would like to thank all of our wonderful volunteers that showed up to work on our Service Project on Saturday.  They painted 16 bathrooms and landscaped 3 areas around the school.  We'd especially like to THANK Aaron Cochrill, WatchD.O.G S. and Darryl Schaner, our custodian for their leadership on this project.  We had many WatchD.O.G.S. dads and also some Northview High School students that came to work.  Thanks for keeping our school & grounds beautiful!
